Our work in the community

As a responsible corporate entity, we have adopted the highest standards of social commitment into the heart of our business, and we have a strong role to play in the UAE’s industrial and social development. Our focus is on developing a sustainable business that cares for its employees, customers, shareholders, suppliers, the natural environment, and our society.

Since 1979, Ducab has consistently given back to the communities in which we operate through corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. To amplify our efforts, ten years ago the company formed a CSR team to create a strategic framework and a more targeted approach.

We assess ourselves according to the Dubai Chamber CSR label framework, which is specifically tailored to the Gulf region and based on international best practices. During our participation at COP 28, we announced our new CSR initiative called “Ducab Ducare”. This initiative focuses on 6 major pillars: Educational, Economical, Environmental, Ethical, Monetary, and Volunteering. Since 2012, we have been a recipient of the Dubai Chamber CSR label award every year, affirming our strong commitment to the community.
