Taking renewable energy to the next level
Implemented by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park is one of the world’s largest renewable energy projects. Ducab was selected as the provider for all specialised cables. The solar PV complex has reached a generating capacity of over 1GW with the aim to reach 5GW by 2030.
With an operational capacity of over 1.2GW, Hornsea One is now the largest offshore wind farm in the world. Our specialised cables were recently selected to connect this landmark project, which can generate enough power to supply over one million homes in the UK.
