Scope of the role:

• Assist in the operation of machines and equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures, processes and manufacturing plan to safely produce conforming products that meet targeted outputs.

Job requirements:

• Relevant technical trade certificate or ITI (2 – 3 year degree)
• 2 or more years of relevant experience in machinery and across limited equipment, within a large industrial manufacturing plant.
• Machine operational skills and time management.
• Should be proficient in written and spoken English language.
• Physically capable.

Scope of the role:

• Prepare materials for dispatch and maintain raw materials and finished goods in good condition during storage. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the yard and such as clean up scrap waste in the yard area in line with Company standards for housekeeping

Job requirements:

• Vocational certificate or high school certificate with 1 - 2 years of experience in general or manual labor.
• Yard operations skills, ability to work under pressure.
• Machine operational skills and time management.
• Good English communication skill.
• Physically capable.

Scope of the role:

• Provide timely maintenance and efficient tool, die room and machine shop services to support optimum operation, minimum downtime and maximum asset life of plant assets.

Job requirements:

• ITI in Machinist trade with 3 or more years of experience in tool and die maintenance and fabrication across multiple tools and equipment within a large industrial plant, preferably in the Cable industry Experience of working in an ERP environment e.g. SAP - Asset Management module.
• Knowledge in extrusion tools is an added advantage
• Fluency in English both written and spoken.

Scope of the role:

• Assist the Maintenance and Electrical Supervisor to provide timely maintenance and efficient electrical engineering services to Ducab’s assets to ensure optimum operation, minimum loss time, and maximum asset life.
• Undertake and analyze electrical breakdowns.

Job requirements:

• Three Years Diploma in Electrical or certificate from an accredited industrial training institute with 4 - 5 relevant experience in electrical maintenance of heavy industrial machinery experience within a large manufacturing plant, in an ERP environment using SAP.
• Good knowledge of PLC drive troubleshooting and programming.
• Relevant trade maintenance skills, troubleshooting, problem solving skills and able to read electrical drawings.
• Fluency in English both written and spoken.

Scope of the role:

• Assist the Maintenance and Mechanical Supervisor to provide timely maintenance and efficient Mechanical Engineering services to Ducab’s assets to ensure optimum operation, minimum loss time and maximum asset life.
• Undertake breakdown maintenance for repairs, fabrication and welding jobs.

Job requirements:

• Three Years Mechanical Diploma or certificate from an accredited industrial training institute with 4- 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance of heavy rotating machinery within a large manufacturing plant, in an ERP environment using SAP.
• Good knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Fitting and fabrication skills, problem solving skills and able to read mechanical drawings.
• Fluency in English both written and spoken.
